Suffolk County Nutrition Counseling

At Pernice Chiropractic located in Suffolk County, we offer an innovative approach to nutrition counseling for our patients. Nutritional counseling is a process in which a health professional works alongside a patient in order to evaluate his or her regular dietary intake.

One of the most common questions asked by many patients is “Why is the food I put in my body important?” To put the answer in simpler terms, food has the ability to be life sustaining or life diminishing. We have the tendency to believe that the FDA is solely out for our well-being, but this may not always be the case. It is important for us not to believe that all foods are safe for us to eat. One may believe that the food we intake is generally good, but we are here to help assess food intake and make changes when needed.

We know that the nutrition world can be a very confusing place and that’s why we introduced Nutritional Counseling Program to our list of services at Pernice Chiro. By getting an idea of what the patient’s typical food intake is during a typical week or couple of days, we can assess and alter his or her diet by recognizing and identifying the barriers to change.

It is important for us to help each and every patient reach his or her goals. We can help further reduce the risk of stroke, diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, high blood pressure, obesity, and more through our nutritional counseling program.

At Pernice Chiropractic, located in Selden, New York, we emphasize nutrition not just for weight loss, but longevity  Within our Nutritional Counseling Program, our patients are given the ability to change their lives by creating and maintaining a healthier lifestyle formulated just for them. We have been serving patients all across Suffolk County for years. Contact our office to make an appointment today!
